Laurie has been teaching private music lessons for over 35 years. She began helping others to grow musically  when asked and then discovered the fulfillment of coming alongside another as they found their musical abilities. 

 

She has a BA in Music and in Expressive Arts and graduate work in vocal pedagogy.

She belongs to  MTAC, the Music Teacher’s Associaton of California and NATS, the National Association of Teachers of Singing and is a Voiceworks Associate.

 

As a class room teacher, she has taught music in  school for nine years, has led choirs and harp ensembles for 20 years.

 

Laurie has performed extensively as a vocalist and harpist throughout Northern California in the last 30 years, making touching the human spirit her priority.
